The PEA has beenprepared in accordance with the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act(NEPA), the Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) regulations for implementing theprocedural provisions of NEPA, 40 CFR Parts 1500 1508, and the National Institute of Justice Draft Guidance for Preparing Environmental Assessments. The grantee and any authorized subgrantees should ensure that they take the appropriate measures to adhere with applicable regulations or policies with regard to the National Environmental Policy Act and/or any state regulations that apply.
