The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with FEI Company for the procurement of an annual service agreement on the Falcon II Electron Detector & Phase Plate for Titan Krios Microscope. This acquisition will be made in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and solicitation for commercial Items," as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Submit offers on NOI-RML-C- 1771314. This acquisition is a Notice of Intent (NOI). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC# 2005-86-2, 02/09/2016. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811219 with a small business size standard of $20.5M. This requirement is not set aside for small business. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Rocky Mountain Laboratories, is seeking to purchase an annual service agreement for the Falcon II Electron Detector & Phase Plate for the Titan Krios Microscope: Falcon-II for Titan Phase Plate 1068830 Contract Period 3/16/16-2/25/17 Included in the full service on site contract: • Preferred 48-hour targeted labor response time, • Labor hours (including travel time and expenses) • Software Coverage to include updates and upgrades • OEM Parts Coverage including all accessories listed on contract • Replacement FEG tip • 1 Preventative Maintenance visit per unit This contract will be billed quarterly in arrears. This contract will be serviced by FEI certified personnel. FOB Point shall be Destination; Hamilton, MT 59840.
